Denizli Hali is located only a few miles from the ancient site of Afrodisias amongst the thick pine forest. The Yoruk and Turcoman tribes live around the region and mostly occupied with forestry and marble mines other than creating wonderful carpets of course. Tobacco is also one of the important assets of their income. Do not be surprised if you see some pictures of ancient columns among the complex tribal patterns on the carpets.
DENIZLI HALI is at the service for the visitors with its 12000 m2 of workshop and showroom capabilities. The best way of discovering the Turkish culture's adaptation of Anatolian life style is to watch the weaving of carpets step by step. Workshops at our stores provide this opportunity for the visitors. Beginning from the process of silk and wool becoming a yarn to the coloring of them with vegetal dyes and the hand tying knots one by one skillfully and patiently can be all observed. This tradition of carpet weaving that has been continuing for centuries now can be seen at the modern working conditions of our workshops. It really gives us a great pleasure to be able to carry on this ancient tradition along with displaying such richness to our visitors at our establishments.
